The seed bursts, the embryonic root appears and begins to grow downward into the soil. The stem forms and, receiving water and nutrients, the embryo begins to develop the embryonic leaves. The germination process usually lasts from 3 to 10 days.

The presence of a second pair of leaves is a sign of the beginning of the germination process. The second pair of leaves differ from the embryonic ones in size and shape – pointed shape and jagged edges. Each subsequent pair of leaves is larger than the previous one and with more branches. This stage lasts 4-6 weeks. When grown indoors, during the germination phase, the plants are transplanted into larger pots.

The period of vegetative growth itself can be divided into two main phases:

I. Rooting
The first stage is related to the rooting of the grafted plants. It lasts 10-14 days. If grown outside and in colder weather it may take a little longer.
For this stage, we recommend feeding with a liquid fertilizer containing ammonium acids and trace elements, or a liquid fertilizer with a high phosphorus content can also be applied. Applying an optimal amount of phosphorus ensures strong root development, optimal stem growth, flower formation, and an increase in the number of seeds.
Consumption rate:
MGP Amino - 10 ml /1 liter working solution
MGP UNIVERSAL – 200–300 ml/10 l of water

II. Vegetative growth
During this period the plant almost reaches its final growth. In the beginning, the growth is slow, but then the growth intensifies, and in general, 5 - 12 pairs of leaves are formed during this period. Cannabis is a plant that during its development needs large amounts of nitrogen, especially during this period. With a good nitrogen supply, the plants will grow quickly and become large and healthy.
For this period, we recommend combined nutrition - alternating foliar and fertigation.
Foliar:
MGP NPSMg 20 – 30 ml /1 liter of water
Fertigation:
MGP NPSMg - 30 – 50 ml/liter of water
Cannabis needs large amounts of phosphorus, especially during seed germination and ripening. The vegetative phase usually ends in the third to fifth month. This way of feeding continues until the pre-flowering phase.

This is a period of one to two weeks, during which growth slows down significantly and the flower buds begin to develop, from which the flowers later develop. During this phase, the plant still needs nitrogen, but in smaller quantities, and it already needs phosphorus and potassium. We recommend feeding with a balanced complex liquid fertilizer with trace elements MAXGROW NPK 999. To stimulate flowering and in order to form more buds, we recommend feeding with B:Mo
Foliar feeding with
MGP UNIVERSAL 40 ml /1 liter of water
+ MGP BLOOM BANG 15 ml /1 liter of water

The flowering phase lasts 1-2 months. When the plant has reached its optimum height, it stops growing and begins to elongate the heads. In this phase, the plant needs a large amount of water and fertilizers.
Foliar feeding with
MGP BLOOM 40 ml /1 liter of water
+ MGP BLOOM BANG 15 ml /1 liter of water

During this stage the heads visibly stop elongating and start to become denser and firmer. At this stage, the plant must be well supplied with nutrients to be resistant to the stress of the upcoming harvest.
For this stage we recommend
Foliar feeding with MGP KSi 40 ÷ 50 ml /1 liter of water
Fertigation MGP UNIVERSAL 40 ÷ 50 ml /1 liter of water

And 2-3 days after in order to overcome the stress and stabilize the plants and for the plant to fill the lower heads as quickly as possible we recommend
Foliar feeding with MGP NPSMg 20 – 30 ml /1 liter of water
+ MGP MICROMIX 10 ml / 1 liter working solution
Fertigation: MGP UNIVERSAL 40–50 ml /1 liter of water
